Carved Lotus Day Bed, Blue Finish
The lotus flower has long been recognized as a spiritual symbol of iconic beauty and purity. The Carved Lotus Day Bed features an inspired symmetrical hand carved lotus flower headboard, framed by thick beams of solid wood. The interior of the arms are carved with mermaid scales, while the exterior arms feature a floral vine pattern. Each pillar is carved with matching flowers, and topped with a traditional indian 'topi' shaped like a temple dome.
The entire daybed is hand made from Neem wood of the Mahogany line. Each one is carefully carved by a family of craftsmen in a village in Rajasthan, India. It is designed collapsible for simplified transport. Mattresses and cushions sold separately.
Each piece is made to order. Turnaround time for production, transport and import is 6-8 months.
