Jhula Pillar Canopy Bed
The headboard of the Triple Arch Jhula Canopy Bed was inspired by the swings from the Maharaja's court. The headboard features 3 carved arches topped with a 3 petal flower. The arches sit above wooden lattice carved panels. The 12" footboard has an elaborate floral vine design framed by delicate geometric patterns. The pillars are made from solid 8" thick tree trunks which take 6 months to carve and cure. The thick solid pillars are also carved with geometric and floral patterns and reach up to carved connecting beams from which to drape fabrics.
Triple Arch Jhula Canopy Bed is modeled after the swings from the Maharaja's court. The entire bed is hand carved from Neem wood, with 8" carved pillars reaching up to engraved beams. Neem is a dense hardwood with natural pesticide qualities, making it ideal for furniture production. Designed, produced and imported by Worldcraft Industries.
