Jhula Arch Canopy Day Bed, Full Size
The Triple Arch Jhula Canopy Daybed was inspired by the swings of the Maharaja's court. This unique carving style features an arched back, lattice interwoven woodwork and arms layered with scales. Each one takes many weeks to perfect. The arms have scales carved into the inside angle, with an ornate carving on the exterior of each arm. The front panel is delicately hand carved as well, in a floral leaf pattern, and the carved arched back features a unique 3 petal flower topping each arch, while below the arches there is an interwoven lattice carving in addition to the thickly carved floral leaf pattern in the center. The Arch Carved Jhula Seating was all hand crafted from solid Indian Neem Wood, of the Mahogany family. Neem is a natural pesticide and a solid dense wood ideal for furniture production. Handmade in our warehouse in Rajasthan, India. The Day Bed is designed collapsible for simplified transport. Medium Antique Finish. Mattresses and cushions sold separately.
