The Carved Lotus Pillar Bed features an inspired symmetrical relief carved lotus flower headboard, framed by thick carved pillars. The lotus flower has long been recognized as a spiritual symbol of iconic beauty and purity.
The lotus headboard and carved footboard are both flanked by 8" thick solid wood pillars. The pillars are carved with geometric and floral designs and take 8 months to carve and cure.
The beds are handmade in a village in Northern India by a family of master craftsmen who have passed on their skills for generations.
