This was meant for our daughters bedroom, and it did not disappoint her, or us. It was very heavy and the carving seemed to have been done by hand, so we felt good about the purchase. It had to be mounted on the wall which seemed like a big deal but they did it when they brought it in and with how heavy it is i am glad it was mounted in the end. you dont really need a base for the bed, we used the simple base that came with the mattress and the headboard piece really brings your attention to it right away so we decided do forego it. The carving depth was what impressed me. It wasnt just a surface carving but real relief work. The wood is so hard and dense that this would not be an easy job. The wooden grill work was all consistant and very detailed. I am happy with the product. (Posted on 3/30/17)

What a stunning piece! I looked online everywhere to find this look, and I was hesitant at first about the mounting, but the delivery guys took care of it and once I felt it I understood that its too solid and heavy to do it any other way. I wish I could afford the whole bed version, but this has changed my entire bedroom and it looks like art up on my wall. I will buy from you again! (Posted on 11/18/15)
